Make shared links open your app

Set up product and content links, understand the website fallback and test links on iPhone and Android.

Shared app links let a shopper open supported content in your installed app. Without the app, product and collection links can fall back to your online store; other content uses its supported web landing page. A removed clip or unavailable link has its own empty state.

  1. In Settings, find Web links open your app and enable Open shared links in the app. The card appears only when available for your store. If it is missing, ask support rather than trying to force an unsupported setup.
  2. Expand How shared links work and review the example link pattern and platform readiness. These are Vunda's supported links; links on your own domain are not available here yet.
  3. For iPhone, resolve any Apple Team ID notice. Vunda reads this identifier through the Apple push-key setup for Vunda push. Follow Vunda push setup or ask support if your configuration differs.
  4. For Android, enter the Android signing certificate SHA-256 requested by the form. This is the identifying fingerprint of the certificate used to sign your published app, not a password or a private signing key. Find it in Play Console under the app-signing certificate, as indicated beside the field. Use one fingerprint per line and resolve validation errors.
  5. Save and publish the required app build. The form's Takes effect in your next app build message means that saving alone does not update an older installation.

Apple and Android verify that the app is entitled to open those links. See Apple associated domains and Android App Links for platform behaviour; Vunda handles the supported app setup rather than asking you to edit website verification files.

Test the shopper experience

Use Preview shared links to inspect the live, removed and unavailable content states. This preview does not change settings or prove a phone has verified its links.

Share a real product from the current installed app and open the link from another app, such as Messages. Check iPhone and Android separately, with and without your app installed. Confirm the correct product opens and Back works. If only one platform is ready, the other may still open the website. Share uses the online-store address until the relevant app-link setup is ready.
