Connect bag incentives to Shopify discounts

Use Marketing > Incentives for the supported offers shown in the bag. Incentives are separate from loyalty points, tiers or provider rewards, which are excluded from the initial offering.

Connect an offer

1. Resolve any not-available or discount-access notice. Allow access to your discounts requests the Shopify permissions needed by the feature; it does not create a valid promotion by itself.
2. Enable Show incentives in the bag and choose the available Look.
3. Select an incentive and enable Show this incentive. Connect the discount type requested by that incentive: a Shopify automatic discount or Shopify code discount.
4. Use Create in Shopify or Open Discounts as offered. Confirm the real products, minimums, dates, customer eligibility and combinations in Shopify. Return and use Check again to refresh readiness.
5. Set any market restrictions and shopper-facing wording to match the actual discount. Save only after resolving validation messages.

Shopify decides whether a discount applies at checkout. Vunda's progress message or bag presentation does not override those rules. Consult Shopify discounts when setting eligibility and combinations.

App-only codes

Where the configured incentive supports a code pool, Add app-only codes prepares the requested number of codes. Check the ready, pending and issued state before promoting the offer. An empty or unready pool cannot be fixed by changing its display text.

Verify the actual purchase

Use a test shopper and eligible products to exercise both sides of the threshold. Check excluded products, a different country and an existing discount code. Continue to Shopify checkout and inspect the final discount and total. Do not describe an incentive as active solely because it appears in the browser preview.

If the bag message and checkout disagree, inspect the linked discount, permissions and current readiness first. Never adjust decorative prices to imitate a discount that Shopify has not applied.
