Choose your app style and features

Understand Vunda's five characters, shared builder features and the capabilities included in the initial offering.

Classic, Editorial, Drop, Pop and Soft are styles on the same modern app system. Choose a character for its look, then configure the supported features for your store. A style does not automatically activate a provider, grant Shopify access or populate your content.

Design your storefront

Use Homepage for sections, Navigation for reachable destinations, Branding for your identity and Components for supported presentation choices. Product templates add merchandising sections to product pages by collection. Custom pages need a menu or section link so shoppers can reach them.

The Add menu is the current list of available sections for that screen. It includes supported product, collection, editorial, media and utility blocks, while respecting placement and single-instance rules. Hidden or unavailable capabilities do not become usable by changing character.

Add content and shopper tools

  • Use Clips and Feed for configured shoppable media. Following is part of the content experience, not a sixth visual character. Its settings and available content determine what shoppers see.
  • Use Routines for authored routines and their supported shopping/reminder experience. Phone-local reminders need permission on that device; they do not sync across devices in the initial offering.
  • Use Welcome flow, Signup forms, Shopper profile and Wishlist and account for their respective onboarding and account options. Sign-in and provider-dependent actions still need their own setup.
  • Use Marketing for available push, drop and promotional tools. A drop calendar or local reminder is separate from raffle checkout. Shopify discounts and signup offers are separate from loyalty points.

What is excluded from the initial offering

Loyalty points, tiers, rewards, referrals and provider-linked membership benefits are excluded. Raffle checkout, iOS Live Activities, Android Live Updates and account-synced reminders are also excluded. These are not features you need to configure to use ordinary shopping, content, Following or local reminders. Do not advertise them to shoppers as available.

Other integrations depend on your selected provider, permissions, consent and readiness. Use the status in Vunda for your store rather than assuming an editor option means delivery is active. Additional Shopify permissions are approved through Shopify; see Shopify installation and setup.

Check what shoppers will receive

The interactive browser preview follows the app's configuration and shared layout rules, but it is not an iOS or Android emulator. Check native gestures, permissions and notification delivery in an installed app.

In an ordinary live workspace, saved configuration reaches the app after refresh. If your workspace uses private preview and publication, Save updates the draft and publication makes the reviewed candidate live. Native configuration changes need a build; compatible app-code updates may use OTA delivery. Publishing guidance explains those separate stages.
