Complete your store listings

Write and upload your App Store and Google Play listings - screenshots, description, privacy policy URL, content rating and the Play data-safety form - so the stores accept your app for review.

Vunda builds and uploads your app, but each store still needs a complete listing before it will approve your app for release. You write and upload these listing details in your own App Store Connect and Google Play accounts. If they are missing, the store rejects or blocks the submission.

The listing is your storefront in each app store: the name, screenshots, description and required disclosures that shoppers and reviewers see. Only you can write it, because it describes your brand and how your app uses data.

What you will need

  • Screenshots of your app on the device sizes each store requires.
  • A short and full description, keywords or tags, and a support URL.
  • A link to your own privacy policy (both stores require one - see the privacy obligations guide in this section).

Step 1: complete your App Store listing (iOS)

This step happens inside App Store Connect, not in Vunda, so the exact screens are owned by Apple. Verify against their current guide before you rely on it.

In App Store Connect, open the version you are releasing and fill in its listing details. Vunda's in-app submit guide summarises the same requirement: complete the description, screenshots, privacy for the version before you submit it. Add your app description, upload screenshots at the sizes Apple requires, set the age rating, and provide your privacy policy URL. Apple will not accept a submission with these missing. Step 2: complete your Google Play listing (Android)

This step happens inside Google Play, not in Vunda, so the exact screens are owned by Google. Verify against their current guide before you rely on it.

In Google Play Console, complete your store listing (title, descriptions, graphics and screenshots), the content rating questionnaire, and the Data safety form that declares what data your app collects and shares. On a first release, Google Play makes you finish these app setup tasks - Vunda's submit guide notes the same trio of store listing, content rating, data safety - before it accepts a production rollout. Provide your privacy policy URL here too. (Sources: Create and set up your app, Provide information for the Data safety section, and Content ratings for apps and games.)

After your listings are complete

With both listings finished, you can submit your uploaded build for review (see the publish guide in this section). Keep your listings accurate for later updates: if your app's features or data use change, update the description and the Data safety form before you ship the new version.
