Manage your subscription
Subscribe to start publishing, reactivate a paused plan, or cancel your Vunda plan, and see where the charge appears on your Shopify bill.
Your Vunda subscription is billed by Shopify, not by Vunda directly. You subscribe from inside the app when you are ready to publish, and you manage or cancel the plan in your Shopify admin. Building and previewing your app stay free, so you only pay when you decide to ship.
Where billing lives
Vunda uses Shopify's managed pricing. That means the charge rides along on your regular Shopify bill, and Shopify owns the plan-selection, payment and cancellation screens. Vunda never stores a card or charges you on its own.
Your Vunda plan appears on your Shopify bill as a recurring app subscription charge, on the same 30-day cycle as your main Shopify subscription. (Source: Shopify - app charges on your Shopify bills.)
Subscribe to publish
You can build and preview without a plan. You only need a subscription when you want to publish to the App Store and Google Play.
In Vunda, open the Publish page. If you are not on a plan yet, Vunda shows the message Subscribe to start building your app. next to a Subscribe to publish button, with the reassurance that You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apps.
- Click
Subscribe to publish. - Vunda sends you to Shopify's hosted pricing page in the top window (it opens out of the embedded app frame, which is expected).
- Pick your plan and approve the charge.
Choosing the plan and approving the charge both happen inside the Shopify admin, not in Vunda, so the exact screens are owned by Shopify. Verify against their current guide before you rely on it. (Source: Shopify - app charges on your Shopify bills.)
Once the plan is active you can run a publish from the Publish page.
Reactivate a paused subscription
If your subscription lapses, your live app stays online but new publishing is paused. Vunda shows a banner that begins Publishing is paused because your subscription is not active. and a Reactivate subscription button.
Click Reactivate subscription to return to Shopify's hosted pricing page and approve the charge again. After it is active, you can publish updates as before.
Cancel your subscription
Cancellation happens in your Shopify admin under Settings > Apps, not inside Vunda. This step is owned by Shopify, so the exact screens may differ from what is described here. Verify against their current guide before you rely on it.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings, then Apps and sales channels.
- Find Vunda in the list and manage its subscription there.
- Uninstalling the app also stops future billing cycles.
Uninstalling stops future cycles, but charges already added to your current 30-day invoice still appear on that bill. Shopify Support cannot refund third-party app charges, so for a refund you contact us directly. (Source: Shopify - app charges on your Shopify bills.)
After you cancel
Your app that is already on the App Store and Google Play does not disappear, but you will not be able to publish new versions until you subscribe again. To start publishing once more, open the Publish page and use Subscribe to publish or Reactivate subscription.
